Hi All so the evening after Bill the hurricane that had more or less calmed by the time it hit Nova Scotia. We had lots of wind and rain but nothing like we have seen in the past - what we did have was nice surf waves!

A few days later there was another blow - we went into Halifax the next day and visited with Chis and Verity at the new house Summit Street which we had not seen since renovations - it is beautiful! Then we headed off to West Pennant and the property they have there. The waves were pretty good from the blow the night before too. We had a lovely walk around the property and on the coast. Saw a mink that came very close to us seem quite unconcerned.

We had dinner that evening with Jill and Mike and their family - wow Lobster!
